Abuse and Neglect in Senior Care is a two part course. Parts 1 and 2 combined will equate to a 1-hour program which will examine various causes, signs and symptoms of abuse. It will cover examples of abuse, neglect and exploitation that can occur in senior care settings. Information will also be provided regarding the preventative measures and strategies that can be used to stop abuse before it begins.

This continuing nursing education activity is approved by the Florida Board of Nursing (#20-693123). Completion of this course fulfills (1) CEU hour of general annual mandatory training for nursing. Do not send certificate to the Florida Board of Nursing. Each state recognizes and accepts continuing education approval from the Florida Board of Nursing except California. Keep this certificate in your records for four (4) years.
